This water filter is ideal for those living in very hard water areas where the hardness is 180ppm - 275ppm. It helps protect any water ionizers that are being used in conjunction with this filter, as it protects connections such as hoses or valves that are prone to damage because of scale.

The Ultra Sparton filter needs to be changed every 12 months or 4,000 litres, depending on which metric comes first.
