The AQ-CWM2 is a countertop water filter that can connect directly to an existing tap for hassle-free installation. Its industry-leading Claryum® filtration technology provides instant access to clean water, and it can remove up to 99% of over 70 different water contaminants.
To ensure complete peace of mind, the AQ-CWM2 uses advanced Claryum® filtration technology to capture contaminants. This technology retains naturally occurring beneficial minerals found in water like calcium, potassium, and magnesium for healthier, more delicious water.
A single compact, yet capable, filter, combines activated and catalytic carbon with ion exchange and sub-micron filtration to ensure water is expertly filtered. This allows for 77 different contaminants to be removed from any supply while retaining beneficial minerals. One filter replaces more than 2,200 plastic water bottles.
The Claryum® AQ-CWM2 has been independently tested and certified to NSF/ANSI Standards 42, 53 and 401. The results of the tests are available in this Performance Data Sheet.
Standard 42 confirms that the system can reduce aesthetic impurities in the form of taste or odours, typically caused by chemicals such as Chlorine and Chloramine.
Standard 53 confirms that the system can reduce contaminants known to impact physical health. Cysts such as Cryptosporidium or chemicals such as Lead or Mercury fall into this category.
Standard 401 confirms that the system can remove 15 specific contaminants commonly found in water supplies to a specified level. BPA, Estrone, Ibuprofen and TCEP are some of the chemicals assessed among the 15.
The NSF/ANSI certification tests also look at material safety and structural integrity as part of the overall assessment. These additional evaluations ensure that there are no design shortcomings that could compromise the system’s filtration ability.
A big advantage of the AQ-CWM2 over drinking standard bottled water is the reduced environmental impact. Just 1 filter in the Clean Water Machine can produce safe and filtered water equal to 2,200 bottles. All without adding any chemicals.
It also has a convenient and compact design that can fit comfortably in a vast majority of kitchens. Being compact doesn’t limit its output though, and it can still filter water on demand to fill a standard-size glass in under 10 seconds.
As a standalone countertop unit, the Claryum® AQ-CWM2 requires no direct installation to a tap or under-sink plumbing. As a result, it’s suitable for use in any household that has access to a water supply.
