Description

The AQ-CWM2-R filter is intended for use as a replacement cartridge with the Aquasana Clean Water Machine. It has a rated capacity of 300 gallons (1,185 litres) and can last for up to 6 months once it has been activated.

Filtration Capabilities

The AQ-CWM2-R uses a 3-stage filtration method to remove contaminants from drinking water. The stages used are Activated & Catalytic Carbon, Ion-Exchange and Sub-Micron Filtration. Together, this combination results in water with reduced levels of Chlorine, Chloramine, Lead, Mercury, Pharmaceuticals, Pesticides, Herbicides and many other contaminants. Even the levels of dangerous bacteria such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia can be reduced.

In addition to reducing the levels of many different chemicals and contaminants, the AQ-CWM2-R's Claryum filtration method reduces odour and improves the taste of drinking water. This is achieved while also preserving minerals such as calcium, potassium and magnesium, which are vital for growth, development and wellness. As a result of its impressive filtration ability, the AQ-CWM2-R filter meets the NSF Certified Standards 42, 53 and 401.
