At its highest setting, the Classic 680i can complete 5 complete air changes per hour, giving it the best clean air delivery rate in its class. As a result, the impact it has on a room is almost immediate and it’s 99.7% effectiveness against allergens allows it to make a noticeable difference.
The filters used in the Classic 680i implement a gradient structure of ultrasonically bonded fibres, which allows for maximum airflow to be maintained while allergens are removed. The complex nature of this structure also prevents allergens from escaping back into the surrounding environment once they are captured.
Both the Particle and SmokeStop filters that are compatible with the Classic 680i have an expected life of 6 months or around 4,380 hours of use. As a result, they don’t need replacing too frequently and are easy to dispose of as they can be widely recycled.
Beyond its impressive purification ability, the Classic 680i is also very easy to control. Its inbuilt LED panel provides intuitive information and all of its functions can be controlled through a few touch buttons for a straightforward experience.
However, this is not the only option, as this purifier is also compatible with Blueair’s, free to download, app. This app can be installed on any smart device such as a phone or tablet and it allows the purifier to be controlled remotely once the unit has been paired.
To match the plethora of fantastic features offered by the 680i, Blueair has worked hard to make it very efficient when in operation. As a result, at its highest level, it only uses 100 watts of power and at its lowest level, it works at a mere 15 watts.
