Really pleased with this juicer. Our previous Omega juicer needed replacement. So the sale price made this very attractive. It's a nice machine, sleek and solid and the attachments are sturdy. The juice is delicious. I am very happy with this brand and type and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Delighted with this product. It's very easy to use and clean. Great service and very quick delivery by supplier. A great way to increase intake of vegetables in my diet and my kids love looking at it in action and the taste of the fruit juice it makes.
The Hurom was recommended to me by a friend who has been juicing for years. I purchased the Hurom as I was starting a celery juice cleanse. I love this juicer as it juices at a speed that ensures you retain as much nutrients as possible. I love how easy it is to use and clean. I purchased it in red as I loved the colour and it looks great. My recommendation is that you make space for it on your counter top to ensure you use it every day. I have just completed 5 weeks of daily celery juicing and purchased a Vitamix from this company as a treat. I am very happy with my product and the service. Would highly recommend the Hurom.
This Huron H-AA Alpha is identical to the Omega VSJ843 in fact Huron manufacture Omega juicers It had the same 10 year motor and 5 year parts warranty as the Omega bug is €100 cheaper. It juices very well and the pulp is relatively dry . Cleaning is reasonably easy with the exception of the rubber pulp plug which you cannot easily get to the underside of the plug. The macerating screw has a large void on the underside which fills with pulp, whilst this is not a problem I feel that with better design this void could be avoided. The feed chute is a little on the small side and made even smaller by small wings at the top - these could easily be removed with a Dremel. The juicer comes with 2 additional screens for more pulp and for sorbet. The unit is compact and will fit in well in a small kitchen. Operation is quiet and smooth. I have no problem recommending this product.
The Hurom H-AA is the newest model in the Hurom range of juicers. This new model far supersedes all the previous Hurom models in its innovative design and versatility. The new design offers many more uses other than juicing with the previous models. This includes the option to make nut butters, sorbets/ice creams, smoothies, tofu to name a few.
Many Manufacturers have been launching new models that are on par with the 2nd Generation Elite model. However, Hurom are the first to launch a model that exceeds the 2nd Generation model in functionality and extra features which is why juicers.ie are proud to introduce the new Alpha model to their range of juicers.
The juicer has been designed to give a very sleek appearance with the smooth curves in the body of the juicer giving it a more contemporary look and a more compact design gradually becoming slimmer in the back to reduce the footprint. The smooth curves on either side enable for easy handling when transporting the juicer.
The reduction in the footprint of the juicer is especially useful in the current times when kitchens are small and compact. However, this does not compromise the functioning of the juicer in anyway. This is because, the motor is still of 150W power with a very quiet operation making the juicing experience much more pleasant than the predecessor models.
The augur and drum have been re-designed to improve the efficiency of the juicer in terms of juice extraction and the operation of the juicer. The augur comes with new double wings to give a superior double cut in comparison to the 2nd Generation model. The redesigned drum has significantly reduced the pulp inside the chamber and improved the pulp ejection from the drum as the pulp ejection outlet has been increased. This is an extremely important improvement to the previous 2nd Generation model. The capacity of the chamber is 500ml which allows for sufficient mixing of juice inside the bowl prior to ejection into the juice collector bowl.
The speed at which the spinning brush rotates has been significantly reduced to 17RPM which prevents over-flowing and the build up of foam inside the juicer which tends to be a problem with most vertical juicers. This reduction in the rotational speed of the spinning brush along with Hurom’s Slow Squeeze Technology (SST) allowing the augur to rotate at 43RPM efficiently mixes ingredients and retains all the essential enzymes, minerals, vitamins and minerals within the juice.
The semi-transparent hopper allows for clear visibility of the ingredients being fed through the juicer as well as enabling you to see that the ingredients are being processed smoothly. This feature also adds some excitement to juicing especially when juicing with children.
Hurom have designed the cooling air vent at the back of the motor to help keep the motor cool and ensure safe operation whilst extracting juice. This will inevitably improve the lifespan of the juicer as the air vent ensures that the motor does not overheat.
The new juice cap gives the juicer a more premium look and a more tight seal. The new juice cap is a lot more robust than the juice cap for the 2nd Generation model reducing the risk of the cap breaking as easily as with the previous model.
The H-AA model comes with a fine and coarse screen as a standard, but in the H-AA, Hurom have introduced their new homogenising blank, which gives the juicer many extra functions over the previous 2nd Generation model. It is now very easy to whip up sorbets, nut butters, nut milks, fishcakes and much more.
If you are looking for a slow cold pressed vertical masticating juicer then this has to be your choice. We have trialled and tested this model side by side with the 2nd Generation model and this model gives a greater and more nutrient rich yield than the previous model. The added functions to the juicer makes it a very useful healthy gadget for the kitchen and you will no doubt want to experiment with the extra screens that you get with the juicer. Around a similar price range to the 2nd Generation model, it is definitely worth spending the extra to get the best model in the vertical range of juicers.
