Coarse and fine chopping can be done by pulsing the one touch button on the handle of the work bowl till your ingredients are the desired consistency or size. However, it is the addition of the whisking disk that extends the range of abilities of this Food Chopper. With the whisking disk in place you can now mix and puree to incorporate air into your recipe, allowing for whipped creams to be created in seconds and eggs to be beaten into light fluffy meringues with astonishing ease. Again the whisking disk is dishwasher safe and so does not add to the overall time in cleaning the product after use. To avoid unwanted leakages and spillages, the 1.2L work bowl, features KitchenAid’s twist lock design which ensures that the bowl stays firmly planted on the motor base. This also extends to the container lid ensuring there is no unwanted wastage whilst chopping which also makes pouring and serving directly from the bowl easy.
