The best purchase of a juicer I have made. This juicer is very easy to assemble, very easy to wash, very quiet, and the pulp is exclusively dry.

After doing a lot of research into which juicer to purchase, I finally decided on the Omega 8008 and I’m so glad that I did. I can honestly say that this juicer has exceeded my expectations on all fronts. Very easy to assemble and clean, the yield is excellent and it seems like a really solid machine. I’ve juiced for many years and it was a big step to purchase my own juicer. I’m enjoying it so much and have been juicing lots of organic produce since the day it arrived. I can’t recommend this juicer enough. Thank you!

This juicer looks great on the worktop and it is easy to clean. Its not a juicer for carrying around with you on a road trip as it is a substantial piece of kit but very sturdy and strong for home use. The accompanying recipe book is really great. The pulp is well dehydrated when the juice is extracted. Care needs to be taken when preparing the materials for juicing and as you experiment you will find out the best way to cut the items, eg. carrots sticks as opposed to slices etc. I found it difficult to juice grapes as the skins clogged the auger but perhaps this is down to my inexperience in juicing. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and very excited to get going on my juicing journey. I would advise new juicers to experiment with their own combinations of foods. I found cucumber way too dominant in my juices so I have used smaller amounts of it. If there is an item you do not like, add only small amounts so you are still getting the health benefits without the "yuck" moments
I am quite happy with the juicer omega 2008 . It will take a little while to use it with the wright ingredients with its full capacity . Just a matter to get use to the product . Thank you for providing a good service . I am sure it will give me satisfaction . I find it a bit slow but very efficient .
Cons: When the tub provided fills with juice, which is 1 serving per person, you need to clean the machine as the heads get clogged up. You will need to prep the fruit & veg by cutting into small pieces to fit down the tunnel. It is a slow presser juicer so it is slow! This is not really a con if you assign the time. Leave 1/2 hr to 1 hour for preparation, juicing, washing. If you're in a hurry, then this is not the machine for you. It is suppose to be slow so I'm not complaining to be honest. Pros: I am definitely getting more juice from my fruit & veg. Easy to clean The quality of the juice is better than a fast juicer, it tastes stronger, more potent, so def more nutrients. Tips: Low fiber fruits and veg like pineapple, apple, lemon, oranges, put them through first and then leave the high fiber fruits and veg (carrots, broccoli, celery) until the end as it helps to push the slushed soft fruit out. Dont push or force the fruit/veg down the tunnel. If you do that, the soft fruit and veg turn to slush in the tunnel and then cloggs up. Prepare the food small pieces. Wait until you see the masher free and then push gently more foot in its way. If you take your time, feed the machine slowly, thats the key to sucess with this machine.

Like its predecessors, the 8008 has many functions that aren’t just juicing. It has 5 different nozzles which will allow you to do tasks like extruding pasta, nut milk, frozen desserts, nut butter and baby food as well as mincing meat and grinding spices. Thanks to the 3 adjustable pressure settings you will be able to process leafy greens, wheatgrass, soft produce and hard veggies and fruits to a high standard. The adjustable pressure settings also stop the pulp from getting stuck inside the juicer and ensures continuous pulp production.
The slow 80 RPM processing speed prevents oxidation and heat build, thus preserving vital nutrients and enzymes. As a result, your juice will have a vibrant colour and a much longer shelf life if stored properly.
Please note that the packaging may state 8228 with the 2 representing that it is 220v which is suitable for UK / Europe. Apart from that this is the same as the 8008 in every way.
