The Sana 848 Juicer comes with a standard fine screen for juicing hard produce and a soft fruit screen/coarse screen for better juicing of softer produce like citrus fruits and berries. The soft fruit screen also gives the option to make pulpier juices or smoothies with more fibre enriched in the juice. In addition to these two screens, the new feature is the sorbet screen that has been included in the package. This allows you to make fresh fruit sorbets from slightly thawed mango, berries etc.
It is also important to note that the fine and soft fruit screen have been designed without the standard mesh seen with older juicer models. This significantly speeds up the cleaning time as the screens are composed of two BPA-free plastic components connected together to make the fine and coarse screens. Hence, when it comes to cleaning, all you need to do is dismantle the two screens and hold them under tap water to simply allow all the pulp to just wash away. This takes out the need to manually scrub the fine holes as with the mesh-type screens which used to be the part that took the longest in cleaning.
Instead of a standard plastic juice container, the Sana 848 comes with a 1500ml vacuum juice container which allows you to store larger volumes of juice and keep your juice fresh for up to 72 hours in the fridge with the use of the vacuum pump.
Finally, sticking to the premium design, Sana has included a large stainless steel pulp container with the juicer. It is very aesthetically pleasing and looks good on your kitchen worktop but it also allows healthy enthusiasts to store their pulp for other uses.
